What's New for 2025?

The 2025 UX 300h replaces the previous UX 250h and now uses a compact lithium-ion battery pack instead of the previous nickel-metal hydride battery. Standard bi-beam headlamps light up the night. While rear combination lamps connected by a continuous single line of 120 LED lights round out UX’s innovative character and cutting-edge appeal. Available in a palette of dazzling colours, including Copper Crest and Iridium, along with available two-tone combinations on F SPORT packages.

More Powerful Hybrid Setup

Replacing the previous UX 250h, the bigger number on UX 300h's badge means it has a more powerful hybrid setup under the hood. Horsepower goes up from 181 hp to 196 hp thanks to more powerful electric motors, and there’s a new lithium-ion battery pack as well.

E-CVT Transmission

What is E-CVT?

Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable (E-CVT) is an intelligent transmission that's constantly analysing vehicle speed, road conditions, engine power and driver input, it selects the optimal (most efficient) gear ratio seamlessly and imperceptibly.


Why is E-CVT ideal for hybrids?

Without the constraining effect of fixed gear ratios, the engine can be operated at its most efficient speed to either propel the car or charge the batteries. And if the computer decides that the petrol motor is not needed for a time, it can be shut down and the twin-input E-CVT used to direct propulsion from the electric motors to the wheels instead.
